Do you have high chairs?

Yes we have a limited amount of high chairs , it's best to try & book one in advance if
coming at the weekend.

Do we allow children?

Yes children are permitted in the restaurant and must be seated at all times.

Is the restaurant loud?

Contrary to the name , the restaurant can get a bit hectic. There is weekend music acts in the front bar, A Sunday evening music act in the restaurant, Irish dancing lesson on Mondays and Tuesday is trivia night. It would be best to check out the entertainment section if you were looking for a quieter night to have dinner. Most people do not find it intrusive.

Is there parking?

Unfortunately we don't have a car park. There is some street parking on Rankin's road and surrounding streets.

Is there public transport nearby?

Yes just off Racecourse Rd there is Newmarket train station and tram 57 from the city we are at stop 24. Only 15 minutes by train and twenty five minutes by tram from the city.

What are the opening times of the off license /bottleshop?

Thirsty camel opens from 11am to 1am every day

Do you use Irish products?

A.

It is not always possible to use products directly from Ireland but when possible we do. All ingredients are tested by our chefs and we try to get as near as possible to products from Ireland. We have four Irish chefs to ensure the menu is authentically Irish.

Yes there is a lovely beer garden to enjoy in the summer and open fires in the winter

Yes most definitely. There are 16 beers on tap , all the standard Irish , standard Australian beers and some craft beers. There is also a good choice of wines in the restaurant. and bottle shop
