We were looking for a warm winter meal and had a wonderful time here. It was family friendly (2 young kids) and the waitress was extremely attentive and helpful. It was loud (Friday night) with live music. We enjoyed this, but if you wanted to avoid the live music and have the fireplace going then don't go on a Friday or Sunday night. However the live music was a lively Irish gig and that just added to the ambience of the Irish pub (and the kids enjoyed hearing it too). There was a hold-up at the kitchen (not long AT ALL), but the waitress brought out a complimentary plate of garlic bread to keep us going. Overall a 5 star experience, child friendly, food was wonderful (big portions so next time we won't order two entrees!) and the child meals were reasonably priced, however the kids liked the adult menu too so they were more than happy to order an adult meal and give us an extra plate so we could split it between the two of them (and that worked out at pretty much the same price anyway). Will definitely be back again!Hayley Gallagher,
Stunning service! Fantastic food! Cosy atmosphere! The place to be for a drink or two and even better for a most memorable meal ESPECIALLY for birthday's, Christmas get-together's and the like. You will NOT be disappointed! Been going here for decades and they just get better and better!Debbie D,
We visited on a Sunday night, with a large group booked at short notice. The staff handled the situation extremely well, meals were served in a timely manner. Great, homely food - I had the seafood pie which was fabulous. Minor mix up meant I was first served fish and chips - these things happen, no big deal.Maureen C,
We originally booked for 8, then later called to add a table of 4 to be nearby so the family could all enjoy the evening together. The staff were very accommodating and shuffled the tables with no issues at all. Turns out the rest of the extended family also wanted to come.
