Entertainment at The Quiet Man Irish Pub

There is entertainment for all ages and music tastes in the Quiet Man Irish Pub. In the front bar on Friday, Saturday & Sundays there is contemporary Irish music from 9.30pm. A great mix of young Irish solo acts / bands offer contemporary Irish music that covers many world artists. Always a great bit of craic and a good place to meet new friends.

Friday evenings from 8pm in the restaurant we have the Fireside Sessions. This covers all genres of music but it is traditional Irish based and all musicians and singers are welcome to join or be part of the audience.

Sunday evening the Irish Trad. session kicks off at 6pm with The Exciting McGillicuddies . If it is a good Irish trad session with plenty of up-tempo songs you are after then you have got to drop in for this event. If eating in the restaurant make sure you book in advance as it is generally a packed house.

Every third Wednesday of the month the Quiet Man singers club meets in the restaurant at 8.30pm. The singers club also covers all genres of music and all musicians are welcome to join in or if you are a little on the shy side you can just sit back, watch & enjoy. The night is not restricted only to music and singing, storytellers' and poets are also offered the opportunity to display their wares. All participants and audience members have a great time and Suzette Herft and Kathryn Clements are two of the best and nicest hosts you would find in the music industry.
This is a very popular night and if eating we advise you book your table in the restaurant in advance.

Monday is Irish set dancing classes. There are held at 8pm All levels are welcome including beginners. The night is hosted by Marie Brooder and she welcomes all with open arms. This is a great opportunity to learn some dancing and also raise your fitness levels. Call in and watch for a week or so and then see if it is your cup of tea.

Tuesday is Trivia night at 7.30pm in the restaurant area and you can join a team or BYO a team. This is supported by regulars but we are always looking for new blood. As mentioned, you can call in and join a team or if you have a few friends that would like a night out together this could be the vehicle. There are plenty of prizes, the questions are varied and a decent grasp of general knowledge will get you home. There are cash prize options for the weekly winners and it has been known to creep to a substantial amount of prize money if it jackpots. Think about dropping in one of these Tuesdays and also check out our Parma Specials on Tuesday nights these are in themselves an incentive to drag you through the door.

There is no cover charge for any of the above entertainment or activities !
